And, as the study was limited to a convenience sample of Portuguese speakers, it should be noted that the iEQ9 scale is only partially translated. Further research is needed to validate its results with the full range of ID.

A recent study in the field of psychological health has found that the empowerment measure ES is equally valid and reliable in Portuguese. This is despite the fact that few empowerment measures are available in the field. However, a Portuguese version of the ES demonstrates satisfactory reliability. Portuguese researchers and practitioners used the ES to assess empowerment interventions in mental health services. This study reveals that the Portuguese version has adequate construct validity, although it requires enhancements in order to be more widely applicable.

A rigorous process was used to evaluate the reliability and internal consistency of the Portuguese version of the ES. It was also subjected to a participatory adaptation process. Bivariate correlation coefficients were calculated to assess the reliability of the Portuguese version. It also revealed good internal consistency. The authors of the Portuguese version of the ES were also debriefed to ensure that the translation was accurate. Personal Development & Self-Help in Portuguese has been translated into a variety of languages.

Moreover, the study also found that the Portuguese version of the POS has adequate psychometric properties. Its first-order model was more reliable than its second-order counterpart, and its Salamanca structure was stronger than its Schalock counterpart. Further studies will be necessary to validate the Portuguese version of the POS. Nevertheless, it can be used to evaluate the quality of life of adults with ID and the effectiveness of personalized supports for them.

The Portuguese version of the Recovery Assessment Scale (RAS) contains twenty-five items ranging from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree." The Portuguese version of the test has good internal consistency with a r value of 0.77, which is considered acceptable. Its four-factor structure is also acceptable and has no cut-off point, allowing for a range of five to twenty-five points.

The Portuguese CompACT was a good fit for data. Most items displayed statistically significant loading values and good internal consistency. The test is gender-invariant, and its psychometric properties are consistent. Women who were pregnant, post-partum, and post-partum scored higher than those in the community. The three factors showed distinct correlation patterns. In fact, the study has found that the Portuguese CompACT measures the same psychological health constructs in women and men.

The reliability of a personal development questionnaire must be confirmed before it is translated into another language. A study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that reliability of the Health Service Quality Scale was a high priority. The Portuguese version of the Health Service Quality Scale was translated into Brazilian Portuguese by two independent translators. Their work was approved by an institutional review board and the subjects provided written informed consent.

A Portuguese version of the PRAISE was developed by an expert committee including the original PRAISE author. This Portuguese version of the test shows adequate psychometric properties with an alpha-Chronik reliability of 0.78 and a validity of 52.3% of the total variance explained. Its reliability was 0.78 compared to the original, which was 0.95. The researchers also found that the Portuguese version of PRAISE had adequate psychometric properties.

The STQ has been validated in two previous studies. Pereira et al. (2021) reported that the Portuguese version of the instrument has a Cronbach alpha of 0.88. Both tests demonstrate high concordance between the STQ and the SIPAAS subscales. As a result, reliability in personal development & self-help in Portuguese is a key factor in personal development.

Among the research results, the PACT scale was found to be highly reliable in assessing the skills of elderly and disabled patients. As a single mother, career for my own mother, working full time, while trying to set up a business, no-one knows better than I do how important finding and maintaining the right balance in life is. During this rollercoaster of a journey, I lost myself, lost my passion, lost my drive and turned into an automated machine, who's sole purpose is cater and serve others. Needless to say, I became very disillusioned with life, my mental health became compromised and I just didn't have anything to give anymore. My work suffered, my family suffered, and most of all, I suffered. It took all the courage and strength that I could muster to turn this around and find an equilibrium that serves me first, allowing me to achieve all of my goals and reams while doing all the things that were required of me and those that I required of myself.
